Building Opening Statement 5/28/20

Dear Church Family,

Praise the Lord; we are able to begin our in-person worship once again! The Montrose County Commissioner’s request for a variance has been granted by the state; and we are able to meet but must for now meet in groups no larger than 50 people. Here is our current plan.

  • We will have in person worship at 10 AM on Sunday. The in-person worship service will be recorded and posted on our website montrosenazarenechurch.org, Facebook page and YouTube channel.  We will also email a link to the service this week.
  • We will not be having Bible Study Lunch at this time. We hope to add Sunday Bible Study as soon as possible.
  • We will not have children’s church or nursery available. Children will need to sit with their families in worship.

IF you choose to attend our in-person worship service:

  1. Please enter through the main entrance off 12th Street. The parking lot entrance will be exit only.  Mesa Street parking will be the closest to the entrance.
  2. Adhere to social distancing. Maintain 6 feet of distance between family groups. Signs will be posted to assist you.
  3. Use of a face mask is encouraged but not required. We will have some if you need one. Hand sanitizer will be available.
  4. Please be kind and courteous of one another’s personal space.
  5. Health questions will be asked at the door. If you are not feeling well, or showing flu-like symptoms please do not attend in-person worship until you are better.

You have been faithful, loving and patient during this difficult time. I thank God for each of you; and look forward to worshiping with you again.

Love in Christ,

Pastor Buddy Cook
