Mother's Day

It is time to honor one of the most special woman in our lives, our Mothers. We will be holding a special service to recognize and honor all of the mothers in our congregation. There will be special music and a gift for every mother that morning. Please join us on May 11th and remember to say "I Love You Mom!"

Western Slope Revival

The Western Slope Churches of the Nazarene are sponsoring a revival featuring the music of Desert Reign. Services will be held at the Gunnison Valley Church of the Nazarene with various pastors from the Western Slope preaching. Services times are as follows: Friday 7pm, Saturday 5pm BBQ 6:30pm service, Sunday 5pm communion service. Please invite everybody you know to join us for this wonderful time of community worship.

Baccalaureate Celebration

The Baccalaureate Celebration will be taking place May 23rd at the Lloyd McMillan Gymnasium. The service will be starting at 7pm. If you have any questions or would like to support the celebration call DeNece at 970-234-6323

Class of 2008 Graduation

Graduation is upon us again. We will be celebrating our graduates during the May 18th service. Graduation ceremonies will be taking place May 25th in the afternoon. Congratulation graduates, we are proud of you!

Memorial Day Services

There will be a Memorial Day service here at the church on May 25th. During the service there will be special music by New Hope Singers and we will be honoring the loved ones who are no longer with us.

Camp Information

As we eagerly look forward to the summer months one of the things we are anticipating is camp. 1st and 2nd graders registration is $118 and they will be camping on June 9th-11th. 3rd-6th graders registration is $202 and they will camp July 7th-11th. Our teens will be out in the wild June 16th-20th. Teen registration before May 15th is $215, after the 15th it will be $225. For more information on registation or to recive a brouchure on the different camps, please contact the church office.

Wednesday Family Night

Come one, come all. Every Wednesday night we serve dinner at 6PM with Bible studies and activities for all ages starting at 6:45PM. Our family nights are continuing to grow. The Superbook Olympics have been going well. The kids all seem to enjoy the program. The Dare 2 Care program has been growing, but we are still needing adults who are willing to reach out to our congregation and community with handwritten notes or phone calls. If you would like more info about our programs give us a call. We are looking forward to having you, your friends and family come join us for food and fun!

Did you know that at this moment over 778 Nazarene missionaries are faithfully carrying out their call to "Go into all the world and make disciples" in over 151 world areas. Also as of April 10, 2007 the Church of the Nazarene through the JESUS Film harvest Partners ministry made contact with more than 43.3 million people; 17.5 percent (7.6 million) viewers accepted Christ; and 31 percent of the new converts were involved in follow-up (discipleship). As you can see God is at work around the world. Your Faith Promise gifts are an integral part in the fulfillment of this mission and we want to thank you for your willingness to partner with us in carrying out the Great Commission.
